Board Certified in Neurology (ABPN) Johns Hopkins School of Medicine residency and Fellowship trained neurologist/medical geneticist Dr. Kittur continued her clinical and research work at the National Institute on Aging (NIA)/NIH before joining the faculty at the Department of Neurology, SUNY Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, NY/Staff Neurologist Perry Point VA Medical Center, Perry Point, MD.
Dr. Kittur has expertise in advance procedures such as Deep Brain Stimulation and Brain Stem Evoked Response Testing. Dr. Kittur’s combined background in both genetics and neurology give her the unique ability to recognize and inform how traumatic brain injuries which may fully resolve in some can result in a lifetime of worsening medical, neurological and psychiatric conditions in others.
